I laughed out loud when I drew this card today! It is PERFECT.
First of all, I posted this photo last night after the event that I facilitated with Rochelle Holt at Wonderworks, the Witch is IN. I captioned the image as “the Three of Cups”.
And, TODAY, I am travelling to Austria, with my Mom and my sister! I was (finally and somewhat frantically) packing my bag when I drew this card.

This makes me very happy, and I think it bodes well for the trip. My mother is from Austria, and I have never been there, so I am excited and grateful to have the chance to visit the land of my ancestors with my loved ones. This is a pilgrimage for me, I can’t wait to see what I discover. We are going to eat lots of strudel and sacher torte, drink strong coffee and sweet wine, and celebrate the enormity of life.

The beauty and power of friendship. The support of sisters, mothers, aunts, friends…seek it out today, provide it to those who need it. Have some fun with dear companions, blow off some steam. Magic flows from this shared energy, so be open to creative inspiration and new insights into your own heart and mind.

Spend some time with your friends, have fun, blow off some steam. If you need help or support, your friends will give it to you. If you have a friend who needs some help, make sure that you’re there for them as well. In a work situation, celebrate a successful project or goal reached together.
Being the suit of Cups, we are in the world of the heart, love, relationships, flowing emotions, healing, intuition, connection.
Being a three, there is a feeling of synthesis, of manifestation, teamwork, creativity, growth, connection and openness. And, three is a magical, sacred number. In this card, I see the maiden, mother and crone, the Triple Goddess.
I just love this card. Such joyful celebration! It is difficult to see where one figure begins and one ends in the card, they are supporting each other, they share a deep heart connection.
So what might the Three of Cups represent in regards to a specific topic?
Three of Cups in Love: Wondering how to meet a new love interest? Get your friends to introduce you! Go out and enjoy social situations, just be yourself and have fun, and magic may happen. On a more challenging note, this may indicate a partner who is more interested in fun than a serious relationship, someone who may be enjoying playing the field so to speak.
Three of Cups in Career: A warm and supportive work environment. Working with people you like, who you have a genuine connection with. Take time to celebrate successes and victories together, and support each other when work gets stressful.
Three of Cups in Well-being and personal growth: Friendship will feed your soul. Make spending time with loved ones a priority. Give support to friends and family when you can, accept help when you need it. Bring more joy and fun into your life, and share it with others.
