Hang On and Enjoy the Ride: My Wheel of Fortune Year

Do you know what your Tarot Year card is (if not, take a look here)? For me, 2015 is a Wheel of Fortune Year.

What do you think of when you hear that phrase…Wheel of Fortune? A game of chance? Spin the wheel? Ups and downs? Does it feel exciting and full of potential, or scary and full of the unknown? These are the thoughts that went through my mind as I calculated my 2015 year card as 2014 drew to a close. So, let’s just say, I had an inkling of what I was in for.

This year has been a roller coaster of all of those things for me. Although it has been chaotic at times, there is also an underlying feeling that things are starting to come full circle, that I’m starting to see the results of hard work I did and energy I expended in the past…there is a feeling of momentum, and I like it. At the beginning of 2015 I decided to just hang on and enjoy the ride, and that attitude has really helped me to make the most of the energy of the year.

A Wheel of Fortune year is often a busy one, filled with a lot of socializing, movement and variety. This came through for me in my business life, I found myself expanding my personal network and reading Tarot at a lot more events and parties than I have ever done in the past. This is another aspect of that full circle/coming together feeling that I mentioned…this year, I actually got paid to dress up in a costume, and read Tarot on my two high holidays, Halloween and Friday the 13th. I also read Tarot at a venue (the Royal Ontario Museum – ROM Friday Night Live) where I used to work as a fundraiser/event planner! Talk about alternative time lines coming together.

Looking back over this past year, I realize that once I found the right combination of putting my whole self into working 100% to build my business while at the same time acknowledging that there are some forces in my life that I simply can’t control, things began to flow.

Next year is a Justice year for me…what a difference in energy. I realize that I’ll have to get a little more serious, focused, and make some difficult decisions. I’ll have to be clear about what I want to achieve and how I want to achieve it, and to be mindful that the life I am creating is the direct result of my actions. Sounds a little daunting, but having this knowledge going forward gives me confidence that I will be able to thrive and grow in 2016.

Want to find out what your 2016 Year Card is? I’m happy to do that for you, and give you some insight into how to navigate the energy and manifest your dreams! Great holiday gift idea for a friend as well…
